Supplier Code of Conduct

Suppliers participating in DefenceOS commit to the standards set out below. These standards align with the EU Defence Industry expectations, NATO supplier-integrity guidance, and customary European human-rights and anti-bribery obligations.

1. Integrity and anti-bribery

Comply with the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention and the UN Convention against Corruption.
No facilitation payments. No gifts or hospitality that could influence a procurement decision.
Maintain books and records that accurately reflect transactions.

2. Sanctions and export control

Screen counterparties against EU, UN, OFAC, and applicable national sanctions lists.
Obtain licences required under Regulation (EU) 2021/821 before transferring controlled items.
Maintain end-user certificates and flag any diversion-risk indicators promptly.

3. Human rights and labour

Respect the fundamental rights in the EU Charter and the ILO core labour standards.
No forced, bonded, or child labour anywhere in your production or sub-supply chain.
Provide safe working conditions and comply with working-time regulations.

4. Conflict minerals and responsible sourcing

Apply due diligence consistent with Regulation (EU) 2017/821 on the supply chain of tin, tungsten, tantalum, and gold sourced from conflict-affected and high-risk areas.

5. Information security

Protect information marked as restricted or controlled at a level appropriate to its sensitivity.
Report security incidents affecting Skansar-supplied or DefenceOS-routed data within 24 hours to security@skansar.com.
Align with the NIS2 Directive (EU 2022/2555) where your organisation is in scope.

6. Environment

Operate in compliance with applicable environmental law. Disclose material environmental incidents that could affect deliveries to Skansar customers.

7. Reporting concerns

Suspected breaches of this Code can be reported in confidence to ethics@skansar.com. We do not tolerate retaliation against good-faith reporters, consistent with Directive (EU) 2019/1937.
